Discharge coefficient
Part O 2021 (England), Technical Guidance, July 2022 – Final Draft, published on the Future Homes Hub, defines discharge coefficient as: ‘…a factor that reflects the reduction in fluid flow through an orifice, in this case air flow through a window or vent as a result (of) the shape of the opening and the opening mechanism and angle.’
